Short but sweet

I attended in the 91-92 school year and even though I didn’t stay to graduate…memories were built that have lasted. When I arrived for my orientation the school needed to put us in a hotel of campus…what an adventure. My distinctive memories led me to drive my two daughters and wife on the campus several times when they were younger. Flash fwd to my daughter looking at colleges and she fell in love with the school and vibe right away. Her freshman year was a learning lesson but she had multiple staff who looked out for her and got her back on track. She went on to be a two sport student…join many organizations and become fully emersed in the SVC community. I am still following the friends I made that one year on facebook and feel like those memories will last my lifetime. None of this would have been possible had she attended  a large school where she would be just a number.

It is a so sad if this goes through and my daughter would not have the same chance to take her children thus carrying on tradition.
